If you are registered at a Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) medical centre and your NHS number cannot be found, click here and use the postcode of your medical centre. Serving personnel can also find their NHS number via Defence Connect.
When you are using the National Booking Service (NBS) online, ensure that you use the DPHC medical centre postcode. These can be found on the My Healthcare Hub or, if you cannot access this, ask your medical centre.

The NHS App* can now be used as electronic proof of COVID-19 vaccination in England. We are aware that Armed Forces families currently overseas and in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are unable to access this service.
AFF’s Health & Additional Needs Specialist has been in touch with the Ministry of Defence on this point. The Government is working on a UK-wide approach and has confirmed with Defence Medical Services that action is being taken to resolve these current issues for those overseas.
Once they are resolved, further instructions will be given to families overseas on how to register and access the NHS App.

The Army Welfare Service remains committed to delivering the best possible personal and community support during the current COVID-19 period. Their staff are finding innovative ways to deliver services. This is dependent on available technology and they are working with reduced resources but, if they can, will deliver services if possible.
Families should contact their Unit Welfare Officer for any welfare issues. If you require an AWS Personal Support Service, you should contact the Intake & Assessment Team on 01904 882053 and leave a message.
