AFF represented at Coronation reception

Chair of the AFF Trustees Heather Key was honoured to be invited to represent AFF at a reception at the US Ambassador’s Residence in London on Saturday, hosted by the First Lady of the United States Jill Biden and US Ambassador Jane Hartley.

Dr Biden, who advocates for military families through her Joining Forces initiative, met members of the military charity sector, including the RAFFF, SSAFA and the Forces Employment Charity.

Heather said: “I was overwhelmed to receive the invitation, alongside other military charities. We were able to enjoy Dr Biden’s company for an hour and a half at Winfield House in Regent’s Park.

“I was absolutely thrilled to be able to represent AFF, and showcase the work of the Army Families Federation, alongside so many esteemed guests and dignitaries.”
