AFF staff out and about again

AFF staff are starting to get out and about to face-to-face events once more, such as the Defence Academy Meet & Greet Fair at Shrivenham last week.

The event was open to current students and their families living locally. There was a huge range of local welfare support agencies and recreational clubs on show, from fencing to fishing, Scouts to sewing clubs.

While AFF’s Overseas Manager was busy promoting the Understanding Overseas Survey, she was also able to answer queries from families soon to embark on overseas assignments, promote FFJ to those seeking employment and training opportunities, and was delighted to meet AFF friends past and present.

Station Welfare Officer Maj Bell thanked AFF for attending. He said: “It was nice to go back to some normality and have the stalls manned.”
