Army families: wherever you are living, whatever the make-up of your family, it’s time to take part in AFF’s annual Big Survey, which this year focusses on the future contract for housing allocation and maintenance.
Are you tired of waiting in all day for a repair person? Want to go online for appointments and track repair work? Wish you had more time at move-in to properly check your new military home?
The housing allocation and maintenance contract is due for renewal and we want your views and experiences to help inform future policies and procedures.
But I’m not currently living in Service Family Accommodation (SFA)?
Did you know that the new contract is likely to be in place for at least seven years?
It doesn’t matter whether or not you’re in SFA at the moment, we want to hear your opinion, after all you may have lived in SFA previously or may move into SFA in the future.
Even if you’re overseas, we need to hear from you. No overseas posting lasts forever and this is a great opportunity to feed into a contract that may affect you in years to come.
Your voice is key
It is absolutely vital that you as Army families tell us what you want, what would make your life easier in terms of housing and pave the way for our biggest bugbears to become things of the past.
Multiple jobs fixed at one appointment, evenings or weekend appointments, or even… one-hour slots!
What do you want to see? We’ll ensure your feedback is heard by those making the decisions that will affect families now and for years to come.
What about FAM?
There is no more news on the FAM contract yet, but we want to know how you’ve heard about the future plans proposed and, importantly, how you want to hear about them. We think good communication is vital, tell us what you think.
Enter to win
What’s more, everyone who takes our short survey has the chance to win one of three Amazon vouchers – handy in the run up to Christmas! Our winner will bag £100, with a second prize of £50 and third of £20.
Have your say
You’ve nothing to lose by taking part and everything to gain. Your views are influential when put together and presented to decision makers.
Make sure your voice is heard on the future of housing. Click here to take our survey now, live until 30 November.
