Autumn Army&You – Preparing for time apart

Time apart is an inevitable part of Army life. In this edition we look at some of the support available to Army families managing periods of separation caused by exercises and operational tours, as well as during times of weekly commuting.

We outline the support available for the younger members of our community, who are dealing with an absent parent, as well as considering how to prepare your admin and finances before a deployment.

For those of you who are on the lookout for a new job, in our new ‘How to’ series we look at getting your CV into shape.

We’ve also got competitions and news on our Dandelions pages, created with the younger members of your Army family in mind. With blogs, the chance to win afternoon tea in the Cotswold countryside and a postcard from Virginia in the USA, there’s plenty to read about in this autumn edition.
