COVID-19: Crisis fund for families in Scotland

If you’re a military family living in Scotland who are struggling financially during the coronavirus outbreak, The Royal Caledonian Education Trust (RCET) may be able to help.

RCET has launched a crisis fund which is open to serving, veteran and reservist families in Scotland.

RCET can provide food vouchers, pay for utility bills and supply children’s clothes.

The charity has received £5,000 from the Community Response, Recovery & Resilience Fund, managed by Foundation Scotland, but is still asking local communities to donate so that the charity can support as many families as possible. If you, or a family you know, could do with some help, contact Karen at familysupport@rcet.org.uk, call RCET’s Head Office on 0131 322 7350 or go to rcet.org.uk
