Education Support Fund – £3m for Service children

Would your child’s school welcome extra cash to help support its Service children? The MOD Education Support Fund (ESF) has been extended for another year and will offer £3 million in funding.

Since its launch in 2011, the fund has distributed more than £42 million to help publicly funded schools, academies and free schools in the UK mitigate the effects on Service children whose parents are frequently on the move or deployed.

Service families are encouraged to let their children’s schools know that they can now apply by the deadline of 30 September 2022.

For more information about how to apply, who to submit the bid to and the criteria for the awards, please see MOD Education Support Fund (ESF) for schools with service children: grant application pack.

The ESF is separate from Service Pupil Premium.

For more information about the ESF, email People-AFFS-ESF-Mailbox@mod.gov.uk
