Funding for Armed Forces community projects

The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust has announced two grants to support projects focused on helping Armed Forces communities, including families.

Force for Change programme

The Force for Change programme offers grants up to £15,000 for one-year projects which seek to make positive differences at a local level. The programme is preferably looking for community projects that tackle isolation and encourage integration within local Armed Forces communities.

It also places particular emphasis on supporting vulnerable Armed Forces communities that are being impacted by the cost-of-living crisis.

Applicants must meet specific criteria – Armed Forces units, charities and schools are eligible to apply. Applicants must demonstrate how the grant would address current shortfalls and how the funding would make a difference. The application deadline is 5pm on 13 December 2023.

Reaching and Supporting Armed Forces Communities programme

The Reaching and Supporting Armed Forces Communities programme has also been established to award grants up to £100,000 over a period of three years.

This project seeks to help address complex needs, again focusing on vulnerable Armed Forces communities most impacted by the cost-of-living crisis. The application deadline has now closed.
