Grants for Service pupils’ education

The MOD-funded Service Pupil Support Programme is open for applications for children aged 4-18 from currently serving families.

Who’s it for?

Maintained schools, academies, sixth form colleges, further education colleges, multi-academy trusts and local authorities can apply.

The programme will award grants of £5,000 to £80,000 to projects that are delivered over a period of up to two years that meet one of three priorities:

  • Closing the gap in attainment between Service and non-Service pupils.
  • Addressing the needs of Service pupils with additional needs through early identification and intervention
  • Identifying and addressing the needs of small cohorts of Service pupils.

This year, the programme will prioritise applications from clusters of three or more schools supporting Service children.

When do I need to apply by?

The application deadline is noon on 8 May 2024.

For more details on the programme, which is part of the Armed Forces Families Fund, see the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust website.
