Interactive toolkit for schools with Service children

A free, interactive online platform to help schools boost their support for Service children has been launched this week.

Underpinned by research and tested in schools, the Thriving Lives Toolkit has been launched by the Service Children’s Progression Alliance (SCiP Alliance) in partnership with the Office for Students Uni Connect Programme and the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.

The toolkit is a framework of seven principles to assess, develop and implement a support structure to best allow Service children to thrive.

Schools can register to evaluate their level of support for Service pupils as well as set actionable goals.

The platform’s user-friendly interface allows multiple members of staff to access the school’s record and chart progress and goals without additional software training or knowledge.
