New Service Family Accommodation contracts have now been awarded and will replace the current contract in the UK from 1 March 2022. The contracts form the next phase of the Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) programme.
The £144m National Accommodation Management Services (NAMS) contract, which includes the operation of a national service centre, has been awarded to Pinnacle Group Ltd.
Regional maintenance and repair contracts have been awarded to Amey (north and central) and Vivo (south east and south west England).
A message from DIO’s Head of Accommodation, Air Commodore James Savage is here.
During the process AFF has been able to reflect families’ experiences – both good and bad – into DIO’s work, with the aim of improving both the processes and customer service culture.
AFF is pleased that the DIO Accommodation Team has responded very positively to this input from families – in particular with the requirement for a single point of contact call centre and working practices which minimise disruption.
AFF looks forward to the roll-out of the new contracts and will continue to feedback to DIO on families’ experiences.
