As an independent charity, we are always looking for ways to improve our services and reach.
In line with this, AFF has undertaken a business change programme to put the organisation in a position to better respond to families’ needs.
Expanded Specialist capability
We have developed our Specialist capability by introducing assistants to help our Housing, Education & Childcare, and Health & Additional Needs Specialists. These teams are now able to provide enhanced support and guidance to families. Full contact details for all our staff can be found here.
We want to provide a relevant and appropriate service to all Army families, wherever they live. We have created a team of Virtual Assistants to increase our capacity to provide support via telephone and email. Thanks to funding from the Army Central Fund and Grant in Aid, we have also been able to invest in a new evidence database, which will better record and track enquiries. This will improve the evidence base that we use to effect positive policy change.
