Wraparound Childcare pilot expanded

The Wraparound Childcare (WAC) pilot has been expanded to include Woolwich Barracks in London and six defence sites in Lincolnshire.

Eligible Service personnel based in Woolwich and at RAF Digby, RAF Scampton, RAF Cranwell, RAF Coningsby, RAF Waddington and RAF Syerston can apply to join the pilot, which provides funding towards the cost of before- and after-school care for children aged 4-11 for up to 20 hours a week during term time.

Applications to join the pilot in Woolwich and at the Lincolnshire sites are being accepted until 31 May 2022.

    Based in Catterick with the 1st Scots Guards, move up here last year from Aldershot. Mrs start work the beginning of his year. I have two daughters, the oldest is 10 and youngest is 5. Need to apply for his scheme, so it can help us with the after school care.
