AFF has teamed up with the RAF and Naval Families Federations to improve the functionality and user experience of the Forces Families Jobs (FFJ) website. The Positive Futures project team, which includes employment specialists from the three Families Federations, met recently to exchange ideas and plan some exciting changes.
AFF Employment & Training Specialist Lucy Ritchie said, “This was a great opportunity for the three Families Federations to brainstorm and explore how we want FFJ to grow and develop.
“FFJ has been a collaboration project between the Families Federations since its launch in 2019. In that time, we have championed military spouse employment, developing a comprehensive employment and training platform with more than 2,000 Forces friendly employers.
“With funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust for this project, we aim to radically improve the user experience on the platform, and their engagement with us on social media. We are all excited to be involved in this project and hope that it lives up to its name in helping to deliver positive futures to forces families”.
The outcome of the Positive Futures project will be revealed in the spring. In the meantime, if you would like further information and see what employment and training support is currently available, visit forcesfamiliesjobs.co.uk
