BFBS launches AI skills course for partners and spouses

BFBS has launched a new AI skills course designed to help spouses and partners of military personnel build their digital skills and expand their career opportunities.

It combines online learning with monthly live evening webinars and four in-person workshops planned for Cyprus, Catterick, Blandford and Edinburgh.

Course lead Jackie Collins, Head of Social Media at BFBS (Academy & Creative), said launching the AI Skills For Military Partners programme at the start of the year was the perfect way to help military partners set themselves up for success in 2026.

“With practical AI skills, participants can confidently explore new opportunities, grow their careers, or enhance their businesses, turning the promise of new year into real action and results.”

It’s funded by a £66,884 grant from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust and tailored specifically for the needs of the Armed Forces community.

Students will learn AI skills relevant for real-world applications and understand how AI tools can enhance work or business growth. And they can learn at their own pace.

The launch is a milestone for BFBS Academy on its mission to provide innovative, accessible training for the armed forces community.
