Members of Army families who want a career in healthcare are being encouraged to consider courses being offered by Wiltshire College.
They include a new two-year Foundation Degree Nursing Associate course based at Salisbury – one of four campuses in the county and not far from Tidworth and Bulford Garrison.
AFF has been liaising with the college to increase engagement with training and education opportunities for spouses and partners. As a result a webinar is being run on 6 March between noon and 1pm for members of military families to receive information about the course ahead of the next intake in September.
Anyone interested can register to take part
The college also runs Health and Social Care courses offering a flexible study opportunity for those who want to work in adult social care.
And there are skills bootcamps for people who want to develop their skills or change direction and learn new ones. They involve studying one day a week for three months and are aimed at a range of sectors including leadership and management.
Students all around the country aged 19 and over can join a distance learning programme that offers professional development, health, social and childcare courses.
Visit Wiltshire College for more information about courses.
