Last week the MOD released the Defence Command Paper: Defence’s response to a more contested and volatile world.
AFF continues to highlight the invaluable contribution families make to Service life and the support they provide to operational effectiveness, which the paper recognised.
We welcome the further potential support in areas such as childcare – both in the UK and overseas – and Service families’ accommodation, and look forward to hearing more details about these commitments.
AFF will continue to provide evidence from personnel and families to ensure any new provision addresses their needs.
