Funding for projects that support Service families overseas

The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust (AFCFT) is now accepting applications for grants of between £3,000 and £20,000 from their Supporting Serving Families Overseas programme.

What does the programme hope to achieve?

The grant will support Service families stationed overseas, specifically supporting wellbeing issues faced by partners, children and young people during an overseas posting.

Anna Wright, Chief Executive of AFCFT, said: “We recognise the additional complexity and challenge that can face families when moving and living overseas, accompanying their serving loved one. This programme is designed to address and mitigate these challenges so that families can thrive and enjoy their time together overseas.”

Who’s eligible?

Applications are welcomed from overseas Armed Forces units, bases or defence locations. In addition, registered charities that work alongside Armed Forces units, bases and defence locations are also permitted to submit applications.

When do I need to apply?

The closing date for applications is noon on 15 January 2025. For more details, please visit covenantfund.org.uk
