AFF’s Managers, Carole Rudd and Emma Perrin were invited to an event marking the formation of the new Army Headquarters North.
John Reynolds, Military Housing Liaison Officer who was one of the event organisers, said: “The event marked the start of the process of the amalgamation of HQ North East and HQ North West, which will see one headquarters here in Catterick covering the whole of the North of England. Friends and families of both sides of the Pennines were invited to the event as well as many of the community groups and stakeholders that support our Service families in the North so that we could reiterate their importance in the success of this merger and also to say thank you for all they do with our Service community.”
Carole and Emma spoke to serving personnel, families, cadets and local businesses to promote Forces Families Jobs, as well as discussing with Reservists how AFF can support them and their families.
The official launch date of Army Headquarters North is 1 August 2024.
