Armed Forces personnel have an extra month to apply for grants from the NAAFI Fund.
This year the portal opens on 1 April and closes on 30 May and there will be just one application form to fill out.
It has paid out a total of almost £4.3m over the past five years, supporting 467 projects aimed at improving the quality of life for serving personnel and their families around the world, including a beach bar in Diego Garcia and an e-sports gaming centre in Cyprus.
Fund manager Hannah McCourt said: “Every year Service personnel around the world continue to amaze me with their new, exciting ideas – I anticipate that this year will be no different.
“It has been fantastic getting out and about seeing first-hand the incredible benefits the units receive from the funding. Our relationship with the funding teams from the Royal Navy, Army and RAF continues to grow to ensure collectively our funding reaches all aspects of the services.”
NAAFI has pledged to donate £10m by 2030. Applications are open to all UK Armed Forces personnel stationed around the world and grants can be used for a wide range of things from equipment to refurbishing indoor and outdoor spaces.
