Supporting Partners Programme reopens for grant applications

The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust is offering grants up to £150,000 for projects that can help partners of serving personnel overcome barriers to employment.

Its Supporting Partners Programme has already awarded more than £2.5 million on behalf of the MOD to 45 projects in the past three years.

A new round of funding has been launched for schemes that meet one or more of a range of objectives.

They include providing partners with opportunities to explore new ways of working or change careers and improving employers’ understanding of the challenges of Service life.

Grants of between £10,000 and £150,000 are available for projects lasting up to three years.

Registered charities, community interest companies, universities of colleges and Armed Forces bases and units can apply. The deadline is noon on 23 September.

Details including eligibility and how to apply for the Supporting Partners Programme can be seen on the Trust’s programme page.
