Visa costs set to rise

Visa fees are increasing from 9 April.

The latest charges published by the Government include a £144 rise for the cost of indefinite leave to remain from £2,885 to £3,029.

Indefinite leave to enter – for which only family members who have previously held limited leave will be eligible – is increasing by the same amount. Leave to enter, which is shown on the Government website as route to settlement, is rising by £92.

Citizenship costs for adults and British Nationals Overseas, including the mandatory ceremony fee of £130, have also gone up, but citizenship for children remains the same.

If you are eligible to apply before the new rates come into force you should do so. Anyone who is not sure if they are eligible to apply now can contact the F&C team at fcsupport@aff.org.uk
